Admins can create teams on behalf of coaches to get a head start on registration.
Once admins have created the teams, edit the team owner to assign the correct coach to their team. To edit a team owner:
Sign in to "SportsEngine Tourney."
In the upper-right-hand corner, click Front Office.
In the left-hand navigation, click Team.
Select the correct season.
In the upper-right-hand corner, click Teams.
Under the Owner column, click the pencil icon next to the correct team owner.
In the Edit Owner module, select the desired coach from the dropdown or click Invite new coach to add a user.
If adding a new coach, complete the Add User fields and click Send Invite(s) once complete.
Once selected, the new coach is assigned to the team and will see the team in their account.
Helpful Tip! Use the edit team owner feature to keep teams up to date with any staffing changes in your organization and avoid recreating teams.
