How to Create and Edit Complexes and Facilities

You must provide at least one complex location to ensure that events display during registration in the SportsEngine Tourney Mobile App. This also enables game scheduling.

Create a Single Complex

  1. Access your tournament.

  2. Click Fields/Courts.

    • NOTE: Depending on the sport, this option may also be labeled Facilities, Boards, Consoles, Rinks, or Pitches.

  3. Click Add Complex.

  4. Enter the complex details, including the number of fields, courts, etc.

  5. Click Save.

Create Complexes in Bulk

  1. Click Fields/Courts.

    • NOTE: Depending on the sport, this option may also be labeled Facilities, Boards, Consoles, Rinks, or Pitches.

  2. Click Bulk Edit Complexes.

  3. Add each complex as desired.

  4. Once complete, click Save Changes.

Copy Complexes from a Prior Event

  1. Access your tournament.

  2. Click Fields/Courts.

    • NOTE: Depending on the sport, this option may also be labeled Facilities, Boards, Consoles, Rinks, or Pitches.

  3. Click Import Complexes/Fields from Prior Tournament.

  4. Click the name of the previous tournament to copy the complex/field information.

  5. The addresses and the courts/fields will automatically be pulled into the new event.

Import Complexes

  1. Access your tournament.

  2. Click Fields/Courts.

    • NOTE: Depending on the sport, this option may also be labeled Facilities, Boards, Consoles, Rinks, or Pitches.

  3. Click Import Complexes/Fields from Spreadsheet.

  4. Paste the data in the Paste Data Below textbox.

  5. Click Continue.

  6. Select the proper data field for each row.

  7. Click Import.

Recognized Import Fields

  • Required Fields*: Complex Name, Complex Code, Address, City, State, Zip Code, Facility Name, Facility Code.

  • Optional Fields: Longitude, Latitude.

If you have several complexes and courts, import them from a spreadsheet using the template below.
